This November 2022, we’re running #PostYourPitch – a social media competition for users of our online startup ideas platform, SimVenture Validate.

Entry competition details are below.

Don’t forget to follow along with updates throughout the month on Instagram or Facebook @SimVentureTribe.

How to win

Simply record a reel of 90 seconds or less and post it on your Instagram or Facebook profile between 2nd & 30th November 2022 for your chance to win!

Your reel must answer the following questions:

  • What is your name?
  • What is the name of your business idea/startup?
  • What problem does your business idea/startup solve?
  • How does your business idea/startup solve this problem?

Don’t forget, you must include the hashtag #PostYourPitch and tag us @SimVentureTribe.

Judges’ top tips

Our judges also have some top tips to help you win!

Here is the criteria they will be looking out for:

  • Originality of the business (Make us laugh or go ‘Wow!’)
  • Creativity of the video (What can you do to make your video stand out?)
  • Enthusiasm (We want to see that you’re passionate about this business / start-up idea!)

Our SimVenture judges will be watching all of your videos and will select one winner based on the criteria above. The lucky winner will be announced in our Facebook & Instagram stories on Friday, 2 December 2022.

Who can enter #PostYourPitch

If you have used or are currently using SimVenture Validate, you are eligible to apply.

You also must have a public Instagram or Facebook account to post your reel from. If your profile is private, we won’t be able to see your entry!

Key dates

The competition is open between 2 November 2022 to midnight 30 November 2022 (GMT). This means your reel must be posted during these dates.

The competition winner will be announced publicly on Facebook & Instagram @SimVentureTribe on Friday, 2 December 2022.

The #PostYourPitch prize

The winner of #PostYourPitch will receive a £100 One4all digital gift card (if based in the UK) or an Amazon voucher of equivalent value (if based internationally).

What happens if you win #PostYourPitch

If you have been chosen as the #PostYourPitch winner, it will be announced publicly on our Instagram & Facebook profiles on Friday, 2 December 2022.

We will then reach out to you (the winner) via Instagram or Facebook (depending on which account you used to enter) direct message and we will ask you for your full name and your email address.

Once you’ve provided these details, you will be emailed your £100 digital gift voucher within the next 7 days.

Please note: We will not ask you for any personal information such as bank details or your home/postal address. We will only require your name and a valid email address to issue you your prize.
