Since 2016, the SimVenture China partnership developed with 英国国家创新创业教育中心-NCEE has led to the widespread promotion and distribution of localised SimVenture business simulation technology and training support throughout the country.
The fully-translated Chinese version of SimVenture Classic was launched in Beijing in June 2017. This localised software is now available for use throughout China which includes over 10,000 schools, colleges and universities. For more details of the Chinese software, contact the SimVenture Sales and Client Support Team or the SinoCampus office in Beijing.
英国国家创新创业教育中心-NCEE is VSL’s exclusive SimVenture Partner in China and is responsible for promoting and distributing SimVenture business simulations and training to the Chinese education market.
One Belt One Road – SimVenture China Partnership
All work completed by 英国国家创新创业教育中心-NCEE links into the Chinese government’s ‘One Belt One Road’ (OBOR) initiative which for the first time in the country’s history prioritises entrepreneurship and enterprise education. As a nation, China now openly recognises the need to develop a nation of entrepreneurs and as a result is looking to partners like VSL to provide the tools and resources that will help to engage and up-skill millions of people.
As part of the SimVenture China Partnership, a national SimVenture Classic competition was launched in November 2017 at the Annual meeting of National Joint Conference of Vocational and College Presidents. The competition, which is set to be run each year includes a national event in Beijing and culminates in an international final in London.
In 2020, the international finals will once again take place at London South Bank University. Competing in teams of 3 or 4 students, up to 25 teams from around the world will compete for the prestigious title of international champions. The trophy will be awarded at a gala ceremony event on the same day.
The UK SimVenture team is responsible for designing the simulation scenarios for the international finals. To ensure a fair and even playing field, all competitors will use SimVenture Classic software provided in either English or Chinese.
