Enter the ultimate business simulation competition for your chance to win a share of £1,000!

Sponsored by Glean and hosted by our team at SimVenture, the SimVenture Global Challenge 2023 #SVGC23 is our way of celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023. The challenge is open to individuals from around the world who are interested in developing their business skills and knowledge in a safe online learning environment. Plus, it’s FREE to enter!

Individuals will compete online to build the most successful simulated bicycle company in our advanced business simulation, Evolution.

All entrants will be given the opportunity to practice using Evolution and develop their business acumen before the formal competition starts.

During the practice, you will be set up with an account and given access to the Growth scenario in Evolution. This scenario starts at the point where the company has been trading for three years and has developed a foothold in the market already. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get to know your way around Evolution and explore how the simulation works.

When the formal competition starts, you will be competing in Evolution’s Seed scenario so you can put your startup skills to the test. This sim scenario presents a new company about to embark upon its first quarter of trading.

As this is an online global competition, the practice and competition start and end dates are in GMT for all entrants. However, it is up to entrants when they access and play the business simulation during the practice period and formal competition time frames. This means that all entrants, no matter their location and time zone, have a fair chance of practicing and winning the final.

The competition is open to individuals over the age of 18.

You do not need to have prior business experience or knowledge to enter. All are welcome!

As the competition is run online, you can be anywhere in the world as long as you have access to a computer with internet.

Simulation practice round: 8 – 12 November 2023

SimVenture Global Challenge 2023: 13 – 16 November 2023

Winners announced: Friday, 17 November 2023

Winners will be chosen by our SimVenture business simulation expert, Ben Guthrie, and will be based on a range of factors within Evolution including Company Valuation. You will receive more information on the judging criteria closer to the competition starting date.
